On a cold, wet day in sunny Arizona, just before Thanksgiving, I went to get some things at the grocery store. As I lifted the garage door, in walked a 9 month old gray/white Alaskan Malamute. He wagged his tail, had no collar and obviously was lost. I put him in the back yard and went to get my groceries. I returned in about 45 minutes. Now we had two other dogs and a large pet door. When I entered the house, there in the kitchen was the Mal and my other dogs, tails wagging and happy grins. Food was in order. That evening the television was playing "The Visitors". My husband looked at our guest and said "Hi V". V stood for the visitor. Well "V" was with us for 16 wonderful years. He was the visitor that came and stayed. With love "V".
