The Hot That Got Away

Our daughter, Delaney, is 2 1/2 yrs and wanted a hot dog for dinner.
At the time of the incident, she and the puppy were the same 
weight.  When the first of 3 hot dogs were cooked and on the way to 
the table.  Summit intercepted the plate Delaney was carrying to the 
table by pushing up the plate with his nose and gobbled down his 
treat.  Mom, then put the second one at Delaney's place on the table 
at which time Summit simply nudged the chair back and had a second 
treat.  When the third one was delivered to the table Summit was 
banished to the back porch and Delaney was left in peace to finish 
her dinner.
