Kodi our female Mal had just settled down from playing with 
her six week old pups.  Boy are they a hand full!!  When the 
telephone rang and some woman asked my name and handed her 
cell phone to my husband who had just left in my new car moments 
ago.  He had just gotten into a car accident down the road at 
the intersection.  I hung up the phone and ran down the road 
with my son to see car in the middle of the road and my husband 
still in it. To everyone's concern, the car that hit him, never 
stopped at the stop sign and never stopped after he hit my husband.  
My son ran up the road where a witness had said the car turned.  
He ran back to our house and that's when Kodi made her escape, 
with my son in tow.  He followed her, apparently she knew where 
these people went and ran up the road but they  had already 
dumped the damaged vehicle and fled on foot. Kodi then turned 
around and came back down the road and showed up at the scene 
of the accident standing near my husband on his way into the 
ambulance. We both noticed her at the same time.  Even with her 
babies at home she still came to rescue her other family.It just 
seemed so strange how she knew something was wrong and she tried 
to help....Mal's have a personality all their own!!!!
