We keep our Malamute Timber in the laundry room when we're 
not home. There's plenty of room for her and she can't 
destroy the house while we're gone.  When we took a vacation 
to Florida we left her with my sister-in-law.  She was good 
until they put her in their laundry room so they could go to 
work Monday morning.  When they came home they found a 
perfectly chewed hole in there door.  It looked like someone 
purposefully had cut a hole in one side of the hollow door, 
from the left to right side, and from the doorknob down.  
She must have spent all day on that project. The only reason 
she didn't get through was because the door was hollow and 
she probably didn't realize she was almost there.
