Howling at the Ceiling My husband had left for work at 4:30 a.m. and Scottie was a little upset to see him leave so he was whining outside my bedroom door. I yelled out to him to "go lay down". A couple minutes later I heard him HOWLING in another room, then heard some things crash to the floor. I went through the living room, and into the kitchen to find a 3 lb. can of coffee dumped all over the floor with the coffee maker just hanging there by its cord, luckily I did not have the coffee pot sitting on the coffee maker and I had also seen my 70 lb. puppy sitting on top of my kitchen counter HOWLING AT THE CEILING. I wish I had a photo of that, but I was in no mood for taking pictures at that time of the morning. It's funny now, but sure wasn't then. and were told that if nobody had claimed him within the next 10 days that we would be able to adopt him and that is exactly what we did.
