Grandma's Baby

My son bought our first mal a little over a year ago. She is 
1 1/2 yrs old and is absolutely beautiful. She was 4 months when 
he bought her, we have always had dogs and his last dog was a 
Shepard who died at 15 1/2 yrs. He wanted to get as near to a wolf 
as possible so decided on the malamute. She is the Craziest, 
nuttiest, bossiest, lovable, gorgeous creature I have ever seen. 
She is black, gray and sable with a full mask and black bars on 
the inside of her eyes. Don’t I sound just like a grandmother? It 
took us a while to convince her that we are the alpha dogs in this 
den. She lives with 2 cats also so she dominates them. We have 4 
grandchildren who she loves guards and protects from me when they 
are visiting. Her favorite pastime besides playing with Ross (her 
owner) is landscaping my yard and digging up my garden she has a 
large cement floor kennel, but she is so cute and so much fun that 
we spoil her terribly. She is very well trained in the house though 
and obeys all commands (when she isn’t going thru a stubborn period, 
I am 70 yrs old and this creature thinks I make a marvelous playmate. 
Her favorite toys are pillows. Thanks for listening to this old
