The Garage

Great site! Having three dogs already-two Chihuahuas and one lab/mix-one day 
my husband calls me from his Auto body shop in NY, telling me a dog has 
wondered into his shop and has planted his body in the office."Can I please 
bring him home, just for the night." My name happens to be sucker!!  So I see 
my husband pull up in the truck, open the door, and this HUGE black & white 
wolf looking thing comes out.....  Well, I shut the door, and am thinking of 
ways too OFF my husband! I have two 6 pound dogs, he is ganna eat them, you 
did not tell me this dog was over 100 pounds. His reply "I didn't think you 
would mind." Joe have I gone deaf dum and stupid in the last five minutes I 
reply? Well, it ends up this dog who's name is Prince(thats what the tag 
says) ends up staying more then a few nights.  From day one I'm on the phone 
trying to find the owner of this beast. In the mean time, the dog is outside, 
I will not let him inside with the other animals. Three weeks goes by..... I 
finally find the owner-he is an old man who does not want Prince anymore (a 
mean old man). You can have him, he says. he likes kids-OK bye. He hangs up 
on me. Well, I figure I feel so bad that this dog is outside all day, so I 
bring him inside one afternoon.I  introduce him to my two Chihuahuas-he 
ignores them, goes over to my lab and they start to play. Well, that was the 
end of that. I now have four dogs! Its been 2 years now, and I've learned a 
lot about the breed-Never Never tell them they can do something once, unless 
you are prepared to let them do it all the time, like sleeping on the bed and 
the chair!  He has eaten a few diners from the table while our backs have 
been turned, but he always seems to share with the other dogs!  At first he 
would run away, so we had to walk him on a leash, now he won't run, I think 
because the food is to good!  He's my love bug and my husband and I Thank God 
he found us. Take care
