Destroyer

Definately malamutes are a wonderful breed of dog!  I 
have a 2 year old named Elias.  I have learned to put 
EVERYTHING in the house away before I leave him alone.  
Before learning this valuable lesson I left a folding 
book-type case of CD's on the counter.  When I came home 
that afternoon I saw all 80 CD's strewn out in the yard.  
Almost every one had a bite mark on it.  Not to mention 
a $140 pair of binoculars, 2 pairs of shoes, a shoe shine 
kit, a watch, a bicycle pump, a brand new new zealand wool 
fleece my cousin got for me when she was there that I 
hadn't even worn once.  The toll is rising.  I have started 
using some chili powder to keep him from chewing stuff and 
getting on the counter.  He is a great dog, though.  He 
has started pulling me on my tele skis and it is so much f
un!  We live up in the mountains of colorado and just love 
it.  I wouldn't trade his "stubborn" personality for anything.
