Best Buddies

He was raised the first 9 years with my other dog a female Norwegian 
Elkhound (Taffy) and they were wonderful together. Last year Taffy 
died suddenly and Quanti went into a deep depression. He would not 
eat or sleep for 2 weeks. He cried every night at the back door. My 
Vet suggested I get him a new companion.  I went to the SPCA and 
acquired "Abby".  She is a mutt.  I think she is part Blue Healer 
and part Bird Dog. She has spots all over her (even on her tongue)! 
When we introduced Abby to Quanti the first time I was very nervous 
and worried that Quanti would hurt her.  He did not.  He immediately 
took her under his wing and has been fine ever since.
