Bear

 This is Bear my three year old Mal. One thing is for sure they are 
pack animals and do not like being alone. I made the mistake of 
setting him up in the bathroom, when my husband's and my schedules 
overlapped for a few hours. He was only three months old. In just 
a few hours, he had totally redecorated. The bathtub was pretty much 
the only thing that wasn't destroyed. Shortly there after we bought 
an Aussie, just so he wouldn't have to be alone. Still to this day, 
when I put him out side by him self, he sits by the gate and howls. 
One other thing about Malamutes, in my opinion, they are the perfect 
breed. As long as you can get past the first two teen age years of 
digging, challenging authority, chewing, challenging authority, not 
moving from your side of the bed, challenging authority, not being 
able to turn your back, and finally challenging authority. Once you 
get past that, you couldn't ask for a better companion and friend.
