A Wake Up Call

 One of our girl's favorite tricks to do in the morning is too wake 
up about 30 minutes before the alarm would go off, wander over to 
my side of the bed and see if I was facing the edge of the bed. If 
I was, she would then give me a very large lick across the face to 
help me wake up. If I was not facing the edge of the bed then she 
would see if my wife was and attempt the same trick. If neither of 
us were facing the edge she would take up a position next to my 
wife and let out a small cry. If this did not wake either one of 
us up then she would keep making it louder until it was a 
full-blown howl. At this point we are already awake, now if you 
keep ignoring her you will soon hear the grumble of defeat as she 
goes back to lying down, and 5 minutes later the alarm goes off.
